My wife and three kids visited the Hermitage Club last week and had a fantastic time. They enjoyed the skiing, dinning and general feel of the resort. The chocolate chip cookies got rave reviews too. Congratulations on another great project.
We joined the Hermitage Club because we wanted a fun, safe, family-friendly ski mountain where we could teach our 2 young girls to ski, improve our telemark skiing, ski with friends, and continue the skiing family tradition that Matt and I both grew up with. The mountain has great terrain, the conditions are always fantastic, the mountain staff knows us by name, and we enjoy quiet, crowd-free skiing everyday. The Hermitage Club has exceeded all of our expectations. We are continually impressed by Jim and his team, and their ability to make the Hermitage Club vision come to life; we are so glad we are a part of it all.

My wife and I are completing our second season as members. We have always experienced the best conditions at Haystack, but last weekend deserves a special thanks! We skied last Thursday, which was a "Colorado" day! Friday was a combo of conditions that must have presented an awful challenge to you and your teem! We were really worried because we had two perspective member couples arriving Friday evening. Thanks to your efforts, our guests enjoyed two of their best ski days ever!

Our kids love it, and we get to spend time together as a family. Our kids get to ski and play with friends and we all get to make memories. We love being outside, and since we work a lot during the week, this is perfect for our family.
You have got to check this out!!! Once you experience it for yourself and your family, you will understand what everyone is raving about. The people are happy and having a safer ski experience. And a huge plus is that you will never see anyone cut the lift line, cause there isnt one. Come and see what I'm talking about. You belong here!
Frankly there isn’t another Ski Club like the Hermitage the Northeast. This is the only one. They have taken a concept that has been highly successful in the golf community for decades and brought to the ski hills. The Private, Member’s only Club. Hermitage has changed everything we have ever come to except as Skiing Norm… No more lift lines, No more over crowded lodges, no more bad cafeteria burgers… It has a four star gourmet New England Country Inn for lunch. It has world class snowmaking. It has also created the member friendly service of a top tier country club. It’s a place where my children feel comfortable and safe. All the instructors and ski ambassadors know them by name. As parents we feel comfortable letting our kids ski the mountain with their friends. It’s a sense of freedom so many kids miss today. But given the truly intimate setting of the Hermitage Club, it is the right environment to let them explore the mountains.

MLK weekend and i took 19 runs yesterday (sat) And that's with three breaks including a long lunch! Fabulous.
When I heard about the concept at The Hermitage, I was immediately drawn to the idea. No lines, freshly groomed snow, and a community for my family and I to enjoy was exactly what I was looking for. I am a member at a golf and country club here on Long Island, and I joined The Hermitage for the same reasons. I want to know I can get a tee time when I need one, that I won’t have the crowds that the public courses have, and that the course will be cared for. The Hermitage Club provides all of that and more – no lines on weekends and holidays, which is unheard of in the Northeast…and snow that’s groomed all day…unimaginable until I joined The Hermitage. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is I get the same conditions – amazing.

The time that we spend together as a family is the most important thing to us. It's a big investment to pack up every weekend and make the drive, so when we arrive we want it to be worth it. Jim and his team have created that place for us. It is all about the mountain, the snow, and enjoying our time together with family and friends. The memories we have made and will continue to make on Haystack mountain are ones we will carry with us forever.

The Hermitage Club is a memory factory, producing more and more unbelievable stories every time we go. For example, on New Years Eve while enjoying drinks in the Pub with my wife and another couple, Jim Barnes came by and asked the four if us if we wanted to join him for a ride in the heated "Catillac" snow cat to the summit cabin for appetizers and champagne. What a spectacular experience! If I am dreaming, don't pinch me as I want the memories to continue.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a lovely dinner at the Hermitage on Friday evening. The food was delicious, the service was very good and we look forward to taking guests. I think we're going to enjoy the Club very much in all its aspects.

This past Saturday, we started out skiing another local resort where the lift lines were insanely long! At lunchtime we met with Rod to finalize our deal with the Club and we concluded our day by skiing lift-line-free on beautiful Mt. Haystack and meeting fellow members. Everyone we met was very welcoming. A big thank you to you and your team (Rod, Dale, and Cordelia) for working with us! Rod was a pleasure to deal with as we worked out the details of our membership. He’s responsive, a good listener and, in our opinion, a great advocate of the benefits of belonging to the Hermitage Club. We look forward to meeting you in person soon too. I just wanted to let you know how excited Tim and I are about belonging to the Hermitage Club.
