The original Haystack Ski Area opened in the early 1960’s, as a friendly alternative to the increasingly crowded resorts nearby. The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is a reaffirmation of that vision: uncrowded classic New England skiing, updated to meet the expectations of today’s discerning skiers.
The Hermitage Inn at Haystack Mountain provides non-resident members and guests elegant accommodations. Guests of the Hermitage Inn are provided access to ski on our private Alpine mountain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and major holidays.
With the August 2012 groundbreaking for the new Club House, the Hermitage has embarked on its quest to create the ultimate in slope-side elegance. The Club House will be luxury redefined. The gorgeous new 85,000 sq. ft. timber framed lodge will feature amenities designed to meet the most discerning of tastes, and the needs of guests of all ages.
Members of the The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain have express permission to ride the base area with mini snowmobiles. They may ride the upper general area on full size sleds, again with express permission, from 4pm to 10pm. Guided tours are available daily with our low emission and quiet 4 stroke fleet.
