Westport, Ct & Wilmington, VT
David and his wife Peg have been members of the Hermitage Club since early 2013. David and Peg split their time each week between Wilmington and Westport, but are in Wilmington most weekends year-round to enjoy golf, water sports, hiking and skiing. They were attracted to Jim’s vision for The Hermitage Club and joined before buying their home in Wilmington. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. David is retired and the former President and CEO of a global consulting firm. David devotes time to addressing the critical issue of childhood obesity through an organization he helped build, ChildObesity180, based at Tufts University in Boston.
CRISTA H. GANNON
Christa has been a member of the Hermitage Club since 2013. She has owned a home in Wilmington, VT since 2001, and she and her husband, John, have been living in the area full-time for four years. Christa has had a long and happy relationship with Haystack Mountain, first visiting the area with her parents in 1969, learning to ski on Fanny Hill. Thirty years later, she taught her children to ski here. Crista’s career was based in marketing with high-tech firms. Most recently, she was a global marketing executive with IBM, based out of Washington, D.C. She retired in 2014 and is very active in the area, volunteering for a number of organizations and boards in Southern Vermont. About The Hermitage, Crista says, “I love the family atmosphere that this mountain embodies. My husband and I were very interested in joining the club in order to enjoy the crowd-free skiing, the first-class workout facility and the high levels of service that the Hermitage Club delivers.”
Dan is a founding Equity Investor and member of the Hermitage Club since 2012. He lives in Riverside, CT, and has owned a home in Wilmington, VT since 2002. His family is active in winter sports of all kinds. He is married to Tamara Wing Kilmurray and is the father of five children: Erin (30), Lindsey (28), Sean (25), Matthew (14) and Ava (9). Dan is the current founding board member and President of The Wilmington Fund VT, which was formed to aid in the rebuilding of Wilmington after Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. He was a board member at the national Council for Adoption in Washington, D.C. He has been with UBS Wealth Management Americas in New York City for the past 32 years and was ranked in the 100 Financial Advisors in America by Barron’s for the past five years. He has been a member of UBS Pinnacle Club every year since 1989, recognized as one of the firms’ top advisors. He received his BA in Economics from Lafayette College, and previously attended Wake Forest University on a football scholarship. He graduated from the Paramus Catholic high school Class of 1971 and achieved All State NJ Quarterback.
Stuart has been a member of The Hermitage Club since 2012. He lives in Armonk, NY with his wife and their three boys: Ryan, Jack and Luke. He is a Co-Founder of Onex Credit Partners, the credit investing arm of Onex Corporation. He is currently a Director of the firm, as well as a member of its Investment Committee. Stuart is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Trustee of the Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford, NY. Stuart and his family have a home in West Dover, VT.
Alan has been a member of The Hermitage Club since 2012. He lives in Bedford, NY and has owned a home in the Deerfield Valley since 2001. He and his wife, Diane, have been coming to the area for over 25 years. They have three children: Adam, Stephanie and Robby, who have all grown up loving to ski and race. His youngest, Robby has been on the Hermitage race team since its inception. Alan is the founder and CEO of Tradition Energy, a global full-service energy management consulting firm, and co-founder and President of TFS Energy, a leading institutional energy brokerage. He holds a B.A. from Binghamton University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University. Alan has sat on several boards of non-profit organizations and is a member of Willow Ridge CC in Harrison, NY.
Gary has been a member of the Hermitage Club since 2012. As one of the first members and home buyers at the Hermitage, Gary and his family were early believers and supporters of the Club. Gary and his wife, Kathleen, and their children: Charlie (16), Phoebe (13) and Leo (10), enjoy coming to their Hermitage home in all seasons and particularly enjoy the lift-line-free skiing in the winter and the summer activities including golf, swimming and boating. They also enjoy sampling the expanded and various fine-dining options offered by the Club. Gary is President of Merx Aviation Finance, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo Investment Corporation. Prior to starting Merx, Gary was a Managing Director at Citi in its Structure Finance Group. When not in Vermont, the Rothschilds reside in Pelham, NY where they are also members of the Pelham Country Club. Gary is a graduate of Stanford University and The New York University School of Law.
