Seasonal Programs

We offer a broad range of Seasonal ski & ride programs. Regardless of commitment level, we will engage and challenge our students. Our ski & ride programs are designed to maximize skill development by pushing the student’s technical and tactical abilities and to teach the values of team while still being an enjoyable and fun experience.

Our students will train every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and will have the option of training on Fridays with advanced notice. Additionally, during holiday weeks when the mountain is open there will be training every day.

Seasonal Program Details

  • The program is offered as a two-day weekend program (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:45am-3pm
  • The weekend Seasonal programs are specifically designed with age appropriate training in mind to offer a well-rounded experience for young skiers and boarders. They feature safety, all-around skill building through skiing/riding moguls, powder, steeps, all mountain skiing, basic freestyle fundamentals and an introduction to racing – Giant Slalom and Slalom.
  • Students who want to be a part of the program must be able to ride the lifts.
  • New members to the Seasonal programs will have an on snow test to be included into the program.
  • Meals (lunch & snacks) are included for the Seasonal Programs.
  • A Hermitage Club “Team” item is included with the Seasonal program.
  • The goal of the program is a 8 athletes to 1 coach ratio, there are times that this may vary.
  • Ages calculated as of the 31st of December 2017

HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.

Seasonal Program Schedule

  • The program is offered on the following dates (53):December – 9, 10, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
    January – 1, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 27, 28
    February – 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25
    March – 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25There are NO programs on December 25th or February 3rd & 4th.
    If you are registered in a Seasonal program, you may join into a Snowsports Group Program on days when your program is not scheduled by making a reservation ahead of time. The cost is $125 per-day per student.

Daily Schedule

  • eet at 8:45am near the Hay Fever lift.
  • Program begins precisely at 9am
  • If you are late, please text your instructor to find out where your group is located.
  • All breaks and lunch will be at Snowsports Tent.
  • On days when the lifts open later and the program is scheduled, the groups meet and depart at the Hay Fever lift at the time the lifts open.
  • The program ends daily at 3pm near the Hay Fever lift.

This “Under 6” Seasonal ski program focuses on the development of youngsters by expertly guiding them to more terrain on the mountain. Our goal is skill development and controlled skiing. It is designed to be fun with an emphasis on continued ski improvement and mileage on varied terrain.

  • The student must be toilet trained plus out of diapers.
  • The students needs to be able to ride the paddle tow and/or the chair lift with minor assistance.
  • Must be a ‘Blue’ ability, new members will have an on snow test to be included into this group.
  • The goal of the program is 3 athletes to 1 coach ratio–there are times that this may vary.

Ages are calculated as of December 31, 2017

This “Under 8” Seasonal ski program focuses on the development of youngsters by expertly guiding them to more terrain on the mountain. Our goal is skill development and controlled skiing. It is designed to be fun with emphasis placed on continued ski improvement and mileage on varied terrain. We introduce opportunities to try fun obstacle courses, race courses and terrain features when participants are ready for new challenges.

  • Must be a ‘Black’ ability.
  • New members will have an on snow test to be included into this group.
  • The goal of the program is 7 athletes to 1 coach ratio–there are times that this may vary.

Ages are calculated as of the December 31, 2017

This “Under 12” Seasonal ski program focuses on the development of youngsters by expertly guiding them to more terrain on the mountain. The program goal is skill development and controlled skiing. It is designed to be fun with emphasis placed on continued ski improvement and mileage on varied terrain. We introduce opportunities to try fun obstacle courses, race courses and terrain features when participants are ready for new challenges. Students will test their skills using the USSA SkillsQuest program and may participate in the Hermitage Club Race Series (HCRS).

  • Must be a ‘Black’ ability
  • New members will have an on snow test to be included into this group.
  • The goal of the program is an 8 students to 1 instructor ratio–there are times that this may vary.

Ages are calculated as of the December 31, 2017

This “Under 16” Seasonal ski program focuses on the development of youngsters by expertly guiding them to more terrain on the mountain. The program goal is skill development and controlled skiing. It is designed to be fun with emphasis placed on continued ski improvement and mileage on varied terrain. We introduce opportunities to try fun obstacle courses, race courses and terrain features when participants are ready for new challenges.   • The goal of the program is a 10 students to 1 instructor ratio–there are times that this may vary.

This “Under 16” Seasonal freestyle ski program focuses is designed to be fun with emphasis placed on continued ski improvement and mileage on varied terrain. There are opportunities to try fun obstacle courses, race courses and terrain features when participants are ready for new challenges. Participants can experience the entire resort: steeps, deeps, moguls, and an introduction to the Terrain Park. Students will continue to develop strong skiing skills on a variety of terrain and snow conditions. There will also be an opportunity to learn spins and rail slides. These opportunities will be introduced as participants are ready for new challenges.

  • Must be a ‘Bronze’ ability
  • New members will have an on snow test to be included into this group.
  • The goal of the program is an 8 students to 1 instructor ratio–there are times that this may vary.
